Step out in a blaze of color this Spring 2003

A parade of bright colors covers the runway and streets this Spring. Especially an abundance of shades of sweet pale pinks are entering the scene in a surprisingly loud fashion. Perk up your silks and lighter fabrics with this girly color and look hot, hot, hot.

What's hot? - Floral in flamboyant hues, Rainbows of bright fabrics, Minis go mini, and Cargo goes luxe.

Spring into Pink - Rated the fresh and appealing color of the season. Bright, bold pinks are out and the innocent pale pinks are in, creating a flirty, flattering look for spring.

Assortments of floral - Popping up in spring - Prints are booming with floral. Fashion designers whipped up some floral prints this season, using the boldness of peonies, dahlias, poppies, roses, and sunflowers to cover the fabrics. Clothes, shoes, and even handbags pop up in floral this spring.

Feeling Flirty - Fashion is celebrating the colors of the rainbow. The acid brights are back! So put on those sunglasses and watch the vivid colors glow day and night. Blazes of color in orange, yellow, green, lilac, pink and blue will do. Put them all together and hit the streets!

Less is more - Dare if you may and show off those limbs. Keep them tight right above the knee or get into a mini and flare if you've got it. One helpful hint - Stay medium on the heel!

Cargo classics - The practical goes luxe with soft colors. So buckle up in clothes, accessories, and shoes.

The Look

Eyes: Sheer, whisper weight, candy colored and shimmer eyeshadows - Line the eyes with a defined gel liner or smoke the eye out. Lashes are full with length and thickness - and fake 'em for those nights out!

Cheeks: Bronze glow with pop of cheek color in pale pink, nectar or apricot.

Lips: Pale pink lipsticks and glosses.

Don't forget those Brows: Finish off the look with a well-groomed brow - pencil and eye shadows work best!
